Address not hard to find for firemen

HONOLULU (AP) - June 23, 2009

They were sent back to their own fire station to put out a blaze.

Honolulu Fire Department spokesman Capt. Terry Seelig says food was inadvertently left on a stove when the fire crew was dispatched to a traffic accident.

After finishing that call, the firefighters were ordered to respond to their own station.

Seelig reports the incident occurred a month ago and caused about $25,000 in damage.

Seelig says like everyone else, firefighters need to be careful when cooking.
