These prom clothes were cheap

Montana high school students Charden Wood and Steven Quade are in the running for a duct tape scholarship.

The Flathead High students fashioned their prom outfits from the handyman's best friend.

They've advanced to the Top 10 in the contest sponsored by Duck brand tape.

Charden says it took about a month to create her flamenco dress and Steven's pin-striped suit.

But Steven says the downside was the duct tape suit got very warm to wear.

The winning couple in the duct tape prom-wear contest wins scholarship money -- $3,000 each and another three-grand for their high school.
