Police search for rooftop robbers

Two robbers posing as roofers have conned a 79-year-old woman into paying for work they never did, which she never requested at her western Pennsylvania home.

State police in Greensburg say the woman heard the men on her roof May 29. When she went outside, the men told her they were fixing her roof in Unity Township, about 40 miles east of Pittsburgh.

The men drove the woman to a bank in their pickup where she withdrew a large amount of cash to pay them.

Police say the men drove the woman home and she finally reported the incident three days later. Since then, police have searched for the men and are now asking the public for help finding them.

Police say it doesn't appear the men did any work on the woman's roof.
