MAYS LANDING, N.J. - June 25, 2009 - Robert Shaver, of Egg Harbor, brutally attacked 87-year-old Mildred Petrone during a hold up outside an Absecon supermarket in 2006.
She suffered a broken neck and later died.
Shaver pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter and three robbery counts for robbing two other women as well.
He must serve 85 percent of his prison sentence before being eligible for parole.
