Arrests in Philly 'vendetta' killing

PHILADELPHIA - June 26, 2009 - Philadelphia police say Aaron Porter turned himself in Thursday and Jamir Jackson was arrested a day earlier. Both men were wanted in the shooting death of 26-year-old Nyesha Whitney.

Police say Porter shot Whitney in the head as she sat on a porch Tuesday in the city's Kingsessing neighborhood. Two other men were wounded.

Porter was wanted for murder and Jackson for solicitation to commit murder.

Police say the shooting was the result of a vendetta over another shooting that left Jackson's brother dead. Whitney's cousin is charged in that killing.

Authorities are still seeking a third suspect.
