ROYERSFORD, Pa. - June 29, 2009 Maddie, a female German Shepherd, fled a home on the 500 block of Church Street late Friday night.
She was found dead around 4:30 p.m. Monday.
The discovery was made by a pair of children riding bikes in the Limerick area.
It is believed that she died from heat exhaustion.
She was found around 3 miles away from where she left.
