It's been a good spring for the veggies at Baltimore's City Hall.

City officials say the gardens planted in front of City Hall have produced more than 1,500 pounds of vegetables, thanks to the spring rains.

The bumper crop of lettuce, beans, kale and collards will go to the kitchens of Our Daily Bread, which feeds the homeless.

There's more to come.

Summer veggies like the tomatoes and peppers are still ripening.
