The Philadelphia Zoo has partnered with Rolling Barrel Events to craft The Summer Ale Festival, a unique summer event featuring delicious, sustainable food and regional craft beers to be held on July 25 at 6:30 p.m. More details of each event are below:
Sunset Safari
July 16 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. extended evening hours! Free with Zoo admission Don't wait - the Zoo will be open late! Bid goodnight to the tigers and send a snake off to slumber. See the Zoo in a whole new light and visit our animals as they get ready for bed! Enjoy live family-friendly music and catch special evening feeding demonstrations.
Summer Ale Festival
July 25 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. Tickets start at $20.00 per person age 21 or older
Celebrate the summer season with this exciting outdoor beer and food tasting extravaganza featuring delicious local summer ales and restaurants throughout the Zoo's lush gardens. Sample, compare and discuss beers directly with the brewers. The event will also feature an impressive lineup of educational seminars prepared by Rolling Barrel providing additional opportunities to interact with some of Philadelphia's best craft brewers. The Summer Ale Festival is a rain or shine event. Admission is limited for this popular event and advance ticket purchase is required. $50 General Admission Tickets: includes a souvenir pilsner tasting mug
$20 Designated Driver Ticket: includes (2) tickets for non-alcoholic beverages (lemonade or ice tea) and access to restaurant sampling stations
