Firefighters in Darby fought a stubborn fire at 5th and Chestnut Streets.

The fire started in a vacant twin row home, shortly after 11:30 Thursday night.

Crews battled flames on the first and second floors.

They finally got it under control around one this morning.

The fire chief says, natural gas fueled the fire.

The cause is under investigation.
