CAMDEN, N.J. - July 8, 2009 The company says the 58-year-old was a passenger in the back
seat when his vehicle crashed on the New Jersey Turnpike Thursday.
Conant was heading from Campbell's Camden headquarters to his home
in Morris County.
The company says Conant sustained some broken ribs.
The company says Conant underwent surgery at an undisclosed
hospital over the weekend and is expected to be hospitalized for a
brief period.
