Police: Complaints lead to drug arrest

Police say complaints from the community prompted an investigation into an alleged drug dealer.George Thornton, 61, was arrested on Tuesday after police executed a search warrant at 306 N. Franklin Street in Wilmington, Delaware.

Investigators say they found 12 bags of heroin, two bags of crack cocain, and 1.2 grams of marijuana.

Thornton was taken to the Howard Young Correctional Center in default of $5,320 cash bail.

Wilmington Police remind people to continue providing them with tips by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
