Officials in Montgomery County are looking for answers after the discovery of an explosive device in a food store's parking lot. The device was found around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of Landes Brothers' Food at 105 Yerkes Road.

The Montgomery County Sheriff, John Durante, tells Action News the device would have exploded, but law enforcement officers were able to disarm and dismantle it.

The materials used to make the explosive were sent to a lab for more tests and evidence collection.

Officials worry that whoever made the bomb will try again.
