3 kids hurt in daycare collapse

OVERBROOK - July 8, 2009 It happened in Philadelphia's Overbrook section around 2 p.m. The emergency call came from the home-based daycare along the 7300 block of Greenhill Road, not far from Haverford Avenue.

Official say ceiling tiles inside the building came down on them.

The children were taken to hospitals to be checked for cuts, scrapes and bruises they suffered when the 2'x4' ceiling tiles came down. Other children left with their parents.

City inspectors were on the scene, and the school was expected to open Thursday morning.
