2 charged in abusing 14-month-old

WARMINSTER, Pa. - July 16, 2009 An investigation revealed the child was burned on an electric kitchen stove and the child was stuck with a drug hypodermic needle.

As a result of the investigation, the Warminster Township Police Department filed charges against Christine Miller, 24, and Thomas Skylar Kule, 25.

Miller was arraigned and released on $20,000 bail. Kule was arraigned and bail was set at $50,000. Kule was sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility.

Both were ordered not to have contact with children.

Police are not releasing the name of the child nor the relationship to the defendants, to protect the identity of the child.

Police are also working with Bucks County Children & Youth Services to ensure the safety of the child.
