Officers say at first the young man claimed he had been the victim of a robbery. He told police because he didn't have any money, the crook stole his clothes.
But police say Hamilton took off his clothes in a park because he was hot.
Officers add that after walking around for about an hour, he couldn't find his duds again.
Hamilton's now charged with suspicion of indecent exposure and making a false statement to police.
