DOVER, Del. (AP) - July 23, 2009
The campaign started earlier this month and runs through
October. It is designed to reduce the number of speed related
crashes in the state.
This year alone, speed has been a factor in 29 percent of the
states 48 fatal crashes, slightly higher than the 25 percent caused
by alcohol involvement.
Drivers are encouraged to report any aggressive or impaired
drivers by calling 911.
