Woman stabbed while in car

Philadelphia Police are investigating the stabbing of a woman while she was in a car Thursday afternoon in Tioga-Nicetown. It happened around 4:00 p.m. on the southbound lanes of the Roosevelt Boulevard Extension near Roberts Avenue.

A 35-year-old woman told police she was stabbed multiple times while riding in a car and then was forced out of the car.

She was taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.

Police are looking for a green Subaru that may be a station wagon.
