Armed bandits confront workers in Lumberton

LUMBERTON, N.J. - July 26, 2009 Police in Lumberton, New Jersey, say a pair of men robbed the Dunkin Donuts at 1621 Rt. 38 Saturday night just after 10 p.m.

Workers reported the two suspects got into the store through a side door. Security camera footage shows the workers facing a small silver handgun as the robbers demanded money.

The first suspect is described as:

  • black male
  • approximately 25 years old
  • wearing a black knit cap, red bandana over the lower portion of his face, black short sleeve t-shirt with gray trim on the sleeves, blue jeans, white sneakers
  • he displayed a small silver handgun in his right hand.
The second suspect is described as:
  • black male
  • approximately 25 years old
  • wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, dark baseball cap, dark t-shirt under the sweatshirt, dark jeans, tan work boots
  • may have had a weapon tucked into his pants
Police say the suspects fled the scene with approximately $1,000.00 cash. Then took off towards South Ave.
