36 laptops reported missing at Reading H.S.

READING, Pa. (AP) - July 28, 2009 The discovery comes less than two weeks after the district acknowledged that nearly four-dozen laptops were missing from its alternative education school.

School board member William Cinfici says the computers were discovered missing Thursday after an in-house inventory.

The laptops are valued at $500 to $900 each.

News of the missing high school computers comes on the heels of the recent revelation that nearly four-dozen laptops worth up to $41,400 were missing at the district's EXCEL alternative education school.
