Police have ticketed a woman for riding a stolen horse down the main street in a small South Carolina town.
The Greenville News reports the 40-year-old woman was cited for disorderly conduct.
Police were responding to a citizen's report that a woman was about to fall off a horse.
Officers say they found the large tan horse tied to a bench at a convenience store.
The woman was inside trying to use the phone.
According to authorities, officers said the the woman's speech was slurred and she smelled of booze.
She said she was riding the horse to her boyfriend's house.
The horse's owner has decided not to press charges.
