N.J. poised to expand solar projects

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - July 29, 2009

The state Board of Public Utilities vote is expected to cement New Jersey's position as the nation's No. 2 generator of solar power - second only to California.

The state's largest utility, PSE&G, has the largest proposal under consideration. It includes the installation of solar panels on more than 200,000 utility poles.
