Trump casinos sued for failed Marina deal

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - July 29, 2009

A company that once intended to buy the Trump Marina Hotel Casino is suing Trump Entertainment Resorts for $17 million. Coastal Marina LLC claims the company allowed the property to fall into disrepair and diverted customers to other Trump casinos.

Coastal is a New York company owned by a former protege of Donald Trump.

The lawsuit claims the casino needs at least $50 million in repairs.

No immediate comment from Trump Entertainment.
