Police believe a suspected bank robber used a taxi cab to flee the scene of a crime. The incident occurred at the TD Bank located along the 1900 block of Market Street in Center City Philadelphia.

There, a man entered the bank and announced a hold up by way of a demand note. After receiving an estimated $3,000, the man fled the bank and jumped into a white taxi cab.

The cab was last spotted heading westbound along market from 20th Street.

The suspect is described as an African-American male, 5'8, possibly in his early to mid 30s. He has a thin build and was wearing a baseball cap with blue hospital scrubs.
