The State Police Fatal Accident Unit, Crime Scene Investigation and Buena Vista Station detectives have now discovered evidence that now points to another vehicle striking the victim before the white Honda Accord and Black Lincoln limousine.
Based on evidence left at the scene, this first car was a red Nissan Altima, probably a 1998 or 1999. The incident is now being considered a hit and run crash.
State Police detectives are now asking for the public's help to identify this vehicle and its driver.
The car in question should have significant damage to the front end. If anyone knows someone with this type of car and it has damage, or they have not seen the vehicle where it is normally kept, contact detectives at the New Jersey State Police Buena Vista Station (609) 561-1800.
