Woman, boyfriend plead guilty in murder

NORRISTOWN, Pa.- July 31, 2009 Christina Rubin, 22, and Jeffrey W. Leinheiser, 20, pleaded guilty to murder, conspiracy, abuse of a corpse and lying to police on Friday.

Both will have a degree of guilt hearing on November 16th.

Rubin was accused of plotting to kill her father with the help of Leinheiser.

Prosecutors say the couple carried out the plan in November, when Leinheiser shot 46-year-old Marc Rubin in his Abington home.

According to wire reports, Rubin and Leinheiser left Marc Rubin's body in an apartment for about a week before disposing of it.

Rubin's body was found days later, dumped in a secluded area in Hamilton Township, New Jersey.

When police went to his home, which he shared with his daughter, they found a chainsaw, latex gloves, and blood on the walls.

Police were able to link Leinheiser to the murder weapon while investigating a separate, accidental shooting at a local hotel.

A third suspect, Daniel Dougherty, is accused of helping to dispose of Rubin's body. He previously pleaded guilty to abuse of a corpse.
