Arriving crews quickly went to work battling the fire which had moved into the walls and was spreading to an adjoining room.
Firefighters called in extra assistance and were able to get an upper hand on the blaze within an hour.
No injuries were reported and there is no word yet on what sparked the blaze.
Guests were relocated to unoccupied rooms.
