The 2-vehicle crash shutdown both lanes on the highway for a time as crews worked to clear the scene.
There's no word on the severity of the injuries sustained in the crash.
The highway has since reopened to traffic.

The accident happened just before 3:00 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Route 309, in a construction area between Norristown Road and Welsh Road.
