Philly murder suspect arrested in Okla.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - August 5, 2009

Police say 19-year Maurice Tippens gave officers a false name and birth date when he was arrested July 27. But Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow says fingerprints identified him as Tippens - who is wanted for the Feb. 9 shooting death of 20-year-old Terrence Jackson in Philadelphia.

Tippens was arrested in northwest Oklahoma City by police investigating reports of a person climbing into an apartment complex through a broken window.

Tippens is being held in the Oklahoma County jail pending extradition to Pennsylvania.
