NJ police officer involved in crash

FLORENCE, N.J. - August 7, 2009 Investigators say a Florence police officer made a traffic stop Friday morning, and the police car and a Honda were stopped.

A minivan then struck the police car in the rear while the officer was sitting inside, then as a result of the impact, the minivan overturned.

A total of three people were transported to the hospital.

None of the injuries at this time appear to life-threatening.
