According to police, the gunman entered the packed bar and walked up to the bouncer and shot him in the head.
The bouncer, identified as 27-year-old Orlando Morrison of Webster, Pennsylvania, was taken by ambulance to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect then fled from the bar on foot to Pine Street where he got into a vehicle and sped away.
No arrests have been made.
