Authorities tell Action News that the motorcyclist had exited route 495 onto Terminal Avenue and struck a concrete median near Wilmington Avenue. The impact threw the motorcyclist off his bike and he struck his head.
He was not wearing a helmet.
Medics transported the man to Christiana Hospital where remains in critical condition.
