Lightning hits convent; nuns evacuated

An Aston convent had to be evacuated due to lightning.At around 7:00 p.m. Sunday night, lightning struck Our Lady of Angels convent on Convent Road in Aston, Pa., Delaware County.

The lightning bolt caused a power outage.

Firefighters arrived to the convent and evacuated the nuns.

Fire officials checked out the building and after no fire was seen, the nuns were allowed back in.
