Teen sought in rash of burglaries

A 16-year-old boy is being sought for at least six burglaries in Wilmington, Delaware.Investigators released the name of Damar Smith on Tuesday afternoon. They say he is wanted for the crimes spanning the last two days.

Authorities say the burglaries have happened in an area bordered by Pennsylvania Avenue to the Brandywine River and Franklin Street to Union Street.

In these burglaries, police say Smith gets into the homes through a screened windows between the hours of 11 pm and 6 am.

Smith is also a defendant in a burglary where he displayed a knife to the victim when he was confronted during the crime.

Smith's last known address in the 1400 Blk. of Harrison Street.
