In late July, New Castle County Detectives were called by parents of the 12-year-old, who found an online conversations that were sexual in nature.
Then, police say, the girl told her parents she had a sexual relationship with the man on separate occasions at the home while her parents were out.
Hoyt was arrested on August 4th, and police say they then developed information on another victim, a 14-year-old girl.
Because of the sensitive nature of the investigation, police say they did not release the news of Hoyt's arrest right away.
Polcie say parents are urged to speak to their children about the dangers of cyber predators and ensure they have not had contact with the individual Hoyt via his screen name, "Nickk302."
To offer information about any encounters with the person, contact Detective Jason Wilson at (302) 395-8110.
