One injured in NJ lightning strike

JACKSON TWP., N.J. - August 12, 2009 It happened in the unit block of Bridgewater Court in Jackson Twp. this afternoon.

The person injured was taken to the hospital. The injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

A tree was also damaged by the strike.

Storms roared through the area in the early afternoon delivering hail in some spots, heavy rains and lightning.
