Roadside resumes duo find jobs

A pair of newly minted college graduates who passed out resumes at a highway off-ramp in Philadelphia have both landed financial service jobs. Sean Christman graduated with a finance degree from La Salle University. His friend Andrew O'Malley earned a business management degree from Rutgers.

Hundreds of job applications turned up nothing. So the pair put on suits twice this summer and handed out resumes during rush hour at a busy downtown Philadelphia intersection.

Christman said Thursday that he starts at a financial services company in New Jersey next week. O'Malley started this week at a local wealth management firm.

Christman says they both got their jobs through traditional networking, but their roadside resume tactic helped distinguish them from the pack.
