300 lb. man robs Philly Rite-Aid

PHILADELPHIA - August 14, 2009 It happened at the store at 7972 Castor Avenue around 8:22 a.m. on Thursday.

According to investigators the man entered the store, pointed a handgun at an employee, and demanded she take him to the office.

Once there, the man ordered the worker to give him all of the money in the safe.

After taking the cash, police say the man ordered the employee to walk him to the back room, where he ordered her into the bathroom.

Then, he fled through a rear door with $1,300.

The suspect is described as a white male, 35-40 years old, 5'11"-6'0", 300 lbs, wearing a yellow polo shirt, black shiny nylon pants, white sneakers, blue baseball cap with an unknown logo (possibly an American Flag), glasses, and a goatee.
