Door-to-door "salesman" charged with threats

READING, Pa. (AP) - August 19, 2009 But things got worse for him: Police say his subscriptions were phony.

Authorities say 23-year-old Robert Bradshaw, of Gary, Ind., was arrested Monday after Reading resident Scott Rothenberger called 911.

Rothenberger says after he refused to buy a magazine, Bradshaw asked what he'd think if he came home and his house was blown up.

Following the arrest, troopers determined that the Texas company Bradshaw claimed to be working for did not exist.

He is charged with making terroristic threats, theft by deception and disorderly conduct.
