Man drowns in Berks County dam

TILDEN TWP., Pa. - August 19, 2009 It happened in the Kernsville Dam in Tilden Township near Hamburg around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

Police say a man, identified as 32-year-old Raphael Montiro of Reading, jumped into the water and did not resurface.

Montiro's body was found just before 6:00 p.m.

The investigation is continuing.
