Police search for mentally challenged teen

Police in Trenton, New Jersey are searching for a missing 17-year-old girl who has some mental challenges.The girl, Schemyra Butler, was reported missing by her mother on Wednesday. She said she last saw Butler around 1:00 a.m. inside the home, but at 8:00 a.m. she was not there.

Butler's last known address is the 10th block of Lee Avenue. She is also known to frequent the areas of West State Street, Parkside Avenue and Sanhican Drive.

She is described as an African American female, brown skin, 5'04" tall, 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

Investigators say Butler has the mentality of a 3rd grader, so her whereabouts are a concern.
