Instructor sentenced in student sex case

GEORGETOWN, Del. - August 25, 2009 Forty-nine-year-old Timothy McDorman of Lincoln pleaded guilty to one count of fourth-degree rape and six counts of possession of child pornography. He was sentenced on Tuesday.

Police said a 16-year-old girl's mother found a text message from McDorman to her daughter's cell phone that indicated that the two were having sex.

Police said the girl had been sending McDorman naked pictures of herself since October when the two began a relationship.
