WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - August 29, 2009 Bishop Gregory Davis and members of his church will hand out
backpacks as volunteers for the Operation Backpack initiative.
Operation Backpack distributions are also happening in Pennsylvania
and Michigan.
The effort is being hosted by Greg Davis Ministries, which has a
backpack giveaway every year to help students be ready to return to
school.
Wilmington officials also have been invited to the event,
planned at seven locations from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
