A carriage horse is nursing injuries after crashing while touring with passengers. The incident happened at 3rd and Walnut Streets in Old City Philadelphia shortly after 5:00 p.m. Saturday.

Reports indicate something scared the horse resulting the carriage to crash at that intersection.

The carriage wrapped around a pole while the horse fell to the ground.

None of the passengers were injured, but the horse did suffer a leg injury.

A team from PSPCA responded and determined the horse, which was back on its feet when they arrived, was okay to return to its stable, but they will be monitoring its care and condition.
