Home invasion in West Philadelphia

Philadelphia Police are investigating a home invasion in West Philadelphia. Officers were called to the 5400 block of Walnut Street around 5:00 Tuesday afternoon. There, they found a 50-year-old man bound and tied with duct tape. The man was taken to the hospital for observation.

The man told police he was outside on his porch when two men and a woman forced him into his house at gunpoint.

He was robbed of about $300 dollars, pistol whipped and tied up.
