Police: Burglary suspect on crime spree

Police say Jonathan Fineman is a suspect in numerous crimes since July.

On Monday, August 31, police in New Britain Borough answered a call after a homeowner reported spotting a burglar trying to get into his homes back windows. The suspect, believed to be Fineman, fled in a vehicle which had been previously stolen out of Doylestown. Police observed the vehicle a short time later and attempted to stop the vehicle, however, the driver refused to stop and was able to elude police after a short pursuit.

Three crimes happened Friday, August 28: A pair of residential burglaries in New Britain Township , Bucks County and an attempted burglary.

Fineman is suspected in an attempted burglary that occurred in Marlborough Township, Montgomery County and a separate vehicle theft that in Ewing Township, New Jersey, both in July 2009.

State Police in Fogelsville, Pennsylvania are also investigating a residential burglary in which Fineman is a suspect.

A loaded handgun was reported stolen during one of these incidents. Police say Fineman should be considered armed and dangerous. Police are advising the public not to approach Fineman and to call their local police department or 9-1-1 with any information.
