Arrest in spree of business burglaries

Police say a man from New Castle, Delaware has been arrested for robbing three businesses early Sunday morning.An employee at Horizon Helicopters in Newark called police when an alarm activated. The worker found a suspect, identified as Ronald Mainville, 30, inside. After being discovered, Mainville fled, police say.

Around the same time, Troopers were called for burglary reports at two other businesses on Sunset Lake Road; Christiana Excavating and Schlosser and Associates.

A security camera was stolen from Christiana Excavating. At Schlosser and Associates, police say Mainville stolen a computer, blank checks, and a snow blower, which he allegedly carried off an Ford F-150, which was also taken from the business.

Mainville was found and arrested nearby with the stolen truck, which had been heavily damaged.
