Police: Serial bank robber struck 5 times

ABINGTON TWP., Pa. - September 14, 2009 All of the crimes were at TD Bank branches.

The latest bank robbery happened in Abington Township. The earlier crimes were in Christiana, Delaware on August 5th, Jamison, Pa. on August 10th, Richboro Pa. on September 1, and Warrington Pa. on September 6th.

The subject is described as a white male in his late 20's or early 30's, 5'8" to 5'10" tall, medium build, with short dirty blonde or light brown hair.

In each of the previous robberies the subject was wearing t-shirts and dark shorts, and made threatening verbal demands to tellers. In Monday's robbery the subject was wearing a black baseball cap, a dark long-sleeve shirt, and jeans. The subject is possibly driving a red Ford Explorer or similar type of SUV.

Investigators say there have been no injuries associated with these five robberies.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or their local police department.

There may be a reward for information leading to the identification and apprehension of this subject, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
