Dover-area colleges preparing for swine flu

DOVER, Del. (AP) - September 15, 2009

DSU spokesman Carlos Holmes says university officials are following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.

Wesley Dean of Students Mary-Alice Ozechoski says most of that school's students live nearby and can go home if they're sick.

At Delaware State, where a larger proportion of students live on campus, Holmes said the university's food services department is preparing ways to serve meals to sick students who are isolated from their fellow student. Wesley is also taking similar steps.

Mandatory meetings in residence halls and with students and faculty are also planned.
