The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. on Monday. Police say the victim was talking on his cell phone when two men approached him and demanded money. One suspect pulled out a gun, and the victim handed over his cash and cell phone.
As they were leaving, one suspect fired and hit the victim.
A red GMC SUV with tinted windows was seen fleeing the area just after the robbery occurred. According to the victim, the suspects were both Hispanic or light-skinned black men, 5'6"- 5'7" tall with average builds.
