Brian Walters and his girlfriend answered an ad for the dogs on Craigslist.
When they visited the seller in her Kensington home, they found the dogs in need of food and medical attention.
They paid $1,500 for the mom and her 10 babies and took them to their Cherry Hill apartment.
Walters says the mom and three of the puppies have already been adopted by friends.
They're taking care of the rest until they can find good homes for the others.
